Foreign diplomats get first-hand account of Armenian atrocities in Ganja

On October 12, heads of diplomatic corps in Azerbaijan, ambassadors, military attaches, and heads of representations of international organizations in Azerbaijan have arrived in Azerbaijan’s city of Ganja.

AZERTAC reports that the diplomats are accompanied by Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev.

The visit aims to acquaint the diplomats with the Armenian atrocities – crime scenes of Armenia’s reckless missile attacks against innocent civilians and energy infrastructure.

At least 10 people have been killed in Armenian bombardment of Azerbaijan’s second largest city of Ganja during a humanitarian ceasefire brokered by Russia between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Being a monument of the ancient culture and a major tourist destination in western Azerbaijan, Ganja has a population of 500,000 and is located over 70 km away from the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia.

Azerbaijan Prosecutors Office, in a written statement, announced that death toll from the overnight missile strike on the residential block in the densely populated city reached 10 people, including 4 women, and 34 injured civilians include 16 women and 6 children.
